The CAS gave the assurance on Friday while hosting the 2025 Eid-ul-Adha Sallah Luncheon with troops of the Air Component, Joint Task Force Operation Hadin Kai, held in Maiduguri.
The troops, however, swiftly engaged the terrorists with heavy gunfire, while the Air Component provided close Air support to the gallant troops.

It would be recalled that last Saturday, the Islamic State of West African Province terrorists (ISWAP) overran and killed at four soldiers at a military formations in Buni Gari in Gujba council area of the state.

It brings together governors from the six Northeastern states, including Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Taraba, and Yobe, to discuss collaborative strategies to tackling the resurgence of Boko Haram hostilities, and revitalising agricultural activities amid other ongoing challenges.
He stated that the government’s sluggish response and neglect of its core responsibility were inflicting untold hardship on Nigerians, particularly in the most affected regions.
