Breaking :Eight feared dead, others wounded in Borno

Not fewer than eight perons feared dead when an improvised explosive device eplanted by suspected Boko Haram terrorists exploded in Gamboru Ngala government area of Borno state.
The explosion happened at 11:00am when vehicles traveling from Rann, headquarters of Kala-Balge to Gamboru Ngala stepped on the IEDs killing at least eight passagers and and other wounded.
The location was near Furunduma, 11 kilometers from Rann.
Sources said the victims included women and children.
A Civilian Joint Task Force who spoke anonymously said eight people lost their instantly.
Another source who prefers not to be named because he was not authorised to speak to the press indicates that the death toll may be higher than eight, noting that the number is 26 women and children.
As of the time of this report, details remain unclear, and an official statement has not been released.
