Breaking: Eight dead , other wounded  on Borno highway

Muhammad  Aji, a local vigilante in Damboa also told our Correspondent by phone that  a commercial bus rammed into landmines  buried by suspected to be Boko-Haram terrorists at Gidan Kaji , a some 30 kilometers away from Damboa town. 

At least persons lost their lives and other sustained varying degrees of injuries when an hummer bus stepped on landmines along Maiduguri-Damboa on Saturday morning.

It was learnt that the incident occured at about 11:45am in Damboa local government area of the state.

According to motorist, Baba Musty , a commercial driver said the hummer bus damaged beyond repairs due to magnitude of explosive devices.

Another source wrote, ‘Innalillahi wa’inna ilaihi rajiuun Tashin Bomb a hanyar Dambo’a zuwa MAIDUGURI we lost 8 people right now others were referred to Hospital.
