Borno Deputy gov bids farewell to Pilgrims to Israel

His Excellency, the Deputy Governor of Borno State, Umar Usman Kadafur, officially bid farewell to 120 intended pilgrims traveling to Israel. The farewell event took place at the EYN Church Center in Wulaari, Jereruslem.
During the ceremony, Deputy Governor Kadafur expressed gratitude on behalf of the Borno State Government for the opportunity to facilitate this annual pilgrimage.
He announced that the Governor of Borno State, Professor Babagana Umar Zulum, has generously allocated $2,00 for each intended pilgrim to support their journey.
The Deputy Governor assured the attendees that the pilgrimage would continue to take place annually without further delay. He urged the pilgrims to pray earnestly for Nigeria’s peace and for the leaders of Borno State during their time in Israel.
Elder James Lawan Ndrimbita, the Coordinator of the Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board and Secretary, also expressed his gratitude to both Governor Zulum and Deputy Governor Kadafur for their generosity in making this pilgrimage possible. He emphasized the importance of such initiatives in fostering unity and spiritual growth among the community.
This year’s pilgrimage illustrates the Borno State Government’s commitment to supporting the spiritual needs of its citizens and enhancing their religious experiences.
