NSCDC Passes Out 137 Personnel After Basic Arms Training
The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has passed out 137 Batch B personnel who completed their basic arms training in Abuja on Tuesday.
Â
During the passing-out parade, NSCDC FCT Commandant, Dr. Olusola Odumosu, emphasised the importance of regular training for security personnel in addressing emerging security challenges.Â
Â
“The operational efficiency of the command has improved significantly since the deployment of Batch A officers earlier trained under the program,” Dr. Odumosu said.
Â
“I am confident that the addition of the newly trained Batch B officers will further bolster the command’s capacity to combat security threats in the Federal Capital Territory.”
Â
Dr. Odumosu urged the new graduates to utilise their skills in weapon handling responsibly to curb criminal activities.
Â
“I warn against indiscipline and accidental discharges,” he stressed, emphasising the importance of professionalism in their duties.
Â
This training initiative underscores the NSCDC’s resolve to adapt to the dynamic security landscape and enhance safety within the FCT.
