BOGIS Exposes Unauthorised Land Vendors, Warns Against Illegal Deals in Borno

The Borno Geographic Information Service (BOGIS) has issued a stern warning to the public about the activities of unauthorized land vendors operating illegally in the state.
In a statement released by the Executive Secretary of BOGIS, Engineer Adam Bukar Bababe, the agency exposed the fraudulent activities of several vendors.
“The attention of Borno Geographic Information Service—BOGIS—has been drawn to the activities of some purported land vendors in the state who are illegally claiming and selling lands to unsuspecting buyers.” Engineer Bababe stated.
The affected vendors included Reality Land and Loan Vendors, UAI Land Vendors, Falmata & Sadiq, Gajibo Enterprises, HAMAB Enterprises, Jigalta Investment Company Ltd, and Al-Amana Land and Building Materials.
“These individuals or companies are selling land that they do not legally own, which can lead to serious legal issues for unsuspecting buyers.” The Executive Secretary emphasized
BOGIS urged the public to exercise caution and verify any land transactions through the agency.
“To this end, the general public is hereby advised to avoid transactions over any land with the aforementioned vendors or any land vendor without due consultation with the agency.”
“Anyone who deals with such land vendors does so at his/her own risk.” Engineer Bababe concluded
